When a child of ten announces that he or she is living in the “wrong body”, and that he or she would like to become a girl or a boy, it must be like discovering that science fiction is in fact reality. Officialdom in the form of medical experts
and your children’s teachers will offer you no relief. Your child’s feelings must be obeyed, if you want to keep your reputation, possibly your job and even your child. What baffles you is that Science is rock-solid. There is no way a boy’s brain can exist in a girl’s body, or vice versa. Yet, even the World Health Organisation has surrendered, redefining the disorder as “gender incongruence”.
