Tell the Citizens' Assembly to Keep the 8th Amendment
25.11.2016
The Citizens’ Assembly, the body established by the government to pave the way for a referendum on the 8th Amendment is currently accepting submissions from the public. While Family & Life continues to have grave reservations about the entire process, it nevertheless urges people to make submissions.
If you have a personal story about how you or someone you know benefitted from the constitutional protection afforded to the unborn in Ireland, please consider sharing this with the Assembly.
Otherwise, please state, however briefly, in your own words, why you believe Ireland should continune to protect unborn human life and why it is of value to preserve and protect the pro-life culture which is underpinned by the 8th Amendment.
Submissions can be made via the Assembly’s website or by post to 16 Parnell Square, Dublin 1. The closing date for submissions is 16th December.
