Small Turnout for Repeal March

Despite months of planning and promotion, a pro-abortion march in Dublin attracted only about a thousand participants. The demonstration, arranged to coincide with International Women’s Day, was organised by the Coalition to Repeal the Eighth Amendment. Some of the marchers carried placards bearing the logo of the British Union of Fascists. The march passed off without reports of violence.
