A Form of Environmental Vandalism?

In July, the British royal, Prince Harry, speaking for himself and his wife Meghan, told a reporter that they had decided to have no more than two children in their duty of care for Planet Earth. Unlike his brother William and Kate, now with three babies and counting, Harry and his wife are environmentally aware, and no doubt will be rewarded for his progressive virtue. Not everyone is persuaded about the purity of their motives, but who knows the mind of man? One admirer will be the campaigning group, Population Matters, previously Optimum Population Trust, which is demanding a government-based policy that would limit the number of children of any couple. It considers the urge for a large family as a threat to the planet and the cause of too many new “emitters”, its chosen description of living human beings adding to carbon emissions.
